A wonderful opportunity to be served dinner in the beautiful surroundings of this 15th century Tudor Grade I listed building, once known as Chenies Palace, and to listen to period songs and music.  On arrival, guests will receive a welcome drink and canapés in the Long Room of the Manor House.  The concert will be in the adjacent Chenies Church and a delicious hot meal from our excellent caterers will be served in the Garden Room of the Manor House.

The Portrait Players are outstanding young musicians who work with leading early music groups, including the Monteverdi Choir, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the Academy of Ancient Music, La Nuova Musica and in the BBC Proms and Brighton Early Music Festival.  The date of this concert happily coincides with Shakespeare’s birthday and their programme will include settings of Shakespeare by a range of baroque composers – an ideal programme for the beautiful and historic setting of St Michael’s Church and the adjoining Chenies Manor House.

Tickets: £80 (including dinner with wine)
