About Us
The Amersham Festival of Music is a vibrant annual celebration of music, bringing outstanding live performances to Buckinghamshire. Since 1981, the festival has showcased world-class musicians, our own Festival Orchestra, alongside talented local performers, creating an exciting and diverse program. Each year we run a series of concerts through the winter months, then have a packed Festival month each April.
Our events feature classical concerts, jazz, choral performances, and more, welcoming audiences of all ages. We are passionate about making music accessible and inspiring the next generation through community engagement and education.

Our Artistic Director
Chris Hopkins is an award-winning conductor and pianist with a passion for bringing music to life. As Artistic Director, he leads the Festival’s musical vision, curating an exciting program that blends tradition with innovation.

Our Orchestra

Our Committee
Our dedicated committee works year-round to plan and deliver the Festival, ensuring its continued success. We are also proud to have the support of our Patron Countess Howe, who shares our commitment to celebrating and promoting live music.
