Named as one of the top five non-professional orchestras by Classical Music Magazine, Orchestra of the City have premiered many new works and worked with a huge range of international soloists.  The orchestra has also appeared on film and television, including ‘Derren Brown - Trick of the Mind’ and the 2013 British film ‘The Magnificent Eleven’, for which the orchestra recorded the title theme.

Making their Amersham Festival debut, this full symphony orchestra of over 50 musicians are joined by award-winning violinist Victoria Mavromoustaki for Mendelssohn’s much loved Violin Concerto, alongside Rachmaninoff’s thrilling First Symphony.
