​​​​​This concert will feature great young jazz musicians from Buckinghamshire in a performance that will showcase different forms of jazz, all of the highest quality.  It is brought to you by Buckinghamshire Music Trust which works across the county to provide musical learning and opportunities for all children in all types of music.

Bucks Youth Jazz Collective: Director Ralph Wyld
The central ethos of this new and exciting group is improvisation, with the majority of time spent working in small groups on interaction, listening and leadership.  In addition to preparing for performances, there is a strong emphasis on process, ensuring our young jazz musicians have the skills to play in and lead jazz ensembles.

BMT Big Band: Director Katie Brown
This group are coming together especially for this performance and comprise of the senior players from our three senior big bands in Amersham, Aylesbury and High Wycombe Music Centres.  You’ll be treated to a wide range of music from the big band repertoire along with some newly arranged and original numbers from the musical directors as well.
