Principal players from our Festival Chamber Orchestra join Iain Ledingham to perform one of Mozart’s finest chamber works and other colourful solo pieces . After the first performance of the Quintet Mozart wrote to his father about "a quintet which called forth the very greatest applause: I myself consider it to be the best work I have ever composed. How I wish you could have heard it!"
