Amersham Music Centre Entertains!

Talented young musicians present a varied and entertaining programme of wonderful music.

Sunday 30th April at 4.30 pm

Amersham Free Church

Amersham Music Centre celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2021.  Originally based at the White Hill Centre in Chesham, the Music Centre has grown and expanded into its current location at the Amersham School.

The Music Centre has a strong sense of community and the social side of making music is every bit as important as the music itself.  The combination of dedicated, inspiring members of staff, a friendly atmosphere and a shared love of making music, gives the Amersham Music Centre a real family feel.

From ‘Music for Munchkins’ sessions for 4–6-year-olds, there are musical activities for ALL ages and ALL abilities, as well as an adult choir and orchestra.  Whether you sing or play an instrument, whether you are just starting your musical journey or have some level of experience, there is something for everyone! The Centre’s Café is a great place to chat and catch up every week and many friendships have been made there.

Ensembles from Amersham Music Centre have performed at various arts and choir festivals, winning prizes and accreditations.  Concert venues have included the Elgiva Theatre, Lowndes Park, The Kings Church and St Mary’s Chesham, to name a few.  Members also have the opportunity to perform at the Royal Albert Hall as part of our Bucks Music Trust Celebration Concerts, and they will be returning there in March 2023.

Tickets: £10, Students Free
