Amersham Concert Brass is a newly formed brass band, part of the award-winning Amersham Band family which now boasts over 100 members. Drawing on local brass players of all ages, the band is developing a broad repertoire of original music for brass band, alongside arrangements of classics from a range of genres.

Part of the objective in forming the band is to offer young people the opportunity to play alongside experienced musicians, performing at a higher level than is provided in schools and music centres.

Amersham Concert Brass is delighted to have been invited to be part of the Amersham Festival of Music in 2020.

Malcolm Peach is the Musical Director of Amersham Concert Brass. He completed his music degree at the University of Salford’s renowned Band Course under tutorage from Nick Childs, Andy Duncan, David King and Peter Graham.

Since graduating, Malcolm has worked as a brass and classroom music teacher. As a tuba player he is a member of Amersham Band, also enjoying frequent orchestral outings and playing in chamber brass groups in and around London.
