AMERSHAM FESTIVAL CHAMBER ENSEMBLE

Mozart

Trio for Oboe, Bassoon and Piano

Poulenc

With music by Schumann, Saint–Saens etc.

Christopher Hooker   (oboe)    Neville Graham  (clarinet)

Tamsin Rowlinson  (bassoon)    Richard Wainwright  (horn)

Iain Ledingham  (piano)

Four wind players from our Festival Chamber Orchestra (well-known to Festival audiences) join Iain Ledingham in a programme of chamber–music masterpieces for piano and wind. The centrepiece of the programme will be Mozart’s magnificent Quintet – a work which Mozart particularly prized and on a par with the greatest of his many piano concertos. Poulenc’s witty and hauntingly melodious Trio is one of the most delightful works of Chamber Music from the 20th century.

Tickets: £16, £13

Please note that the £13 tickets may have restricted view due to church pillars.
