Dr Kris Worsley is a lecturer at the Royal Northern College of Music. He has published articles and reviews on European music and performance practice from the late 17th to early 19th century and has completed research on Beethoven’s Heiligenstadt sketches. He is active as a pianist on modern and historical instruments, and has performed many works by little–known composers of the 18th and 19th century and uncompleted works from Beethoven’s sketchbooks.
