The Rose Consort of Viols has built an enviable reputation for its performance of English consort music over two decades. With its unique blend of intimacy, intricacy, passion and flamboyance, its programmes range from Taverner, Tallis and Byrd to Lawes, Locke and Purcell. The Rose Consort has received awards for its research and performance of newly devised programmes which the consort has toured internationally and recorded on CD and radio.
